    What is a store Credit Card?

    Unlike conventional credit cards, customers can apply while in your store or online. A private label credit card (PLCC)—with your store name printed on it—lets customers finance major purchases.*

    How much does it cost?

    Customers pay nothing to apply or keep the card. Your pricing is based on the financing promotions you choose to offer. Our competitive rates help you make the most of every sale.

    How can I get started?

    We make it easy to start offering financing. You’ll get an initial training session and can access more training any time. We also provide how-to videos and online courses, plus, you can contact our Client Services team as needed.

    What promotions can I offer customers?

    Once you’re a Synchrony Financial partner, you can offer customers a choice of Deferred Interest and Reduced Rate/Fixed Pay financing options to meet their needs.

    Will my customers pay interest charges?

    They will not pay interest on their promotional purchase. Customers who select a "Reduced Rate/Fixed Pay" promotional financing option will pay interest at a reduced rate on the promotional purchase.

8 Tips for Using Social Media Effectively

Provide interesting, fresh information that is relevant to your customers. Social media posts should avoid looking like blatant commercials. You get better response when your posts are updated frequently with interesting new product information, announcements of special events or special limited time offers, and stories about customers' experiences with your business, such as photos of a new kitchen remodel or landscape project (with their permission, of course).

Create excitement with special offers. Special offers and discounts are extremely popular among social media consumers. Your customers will keep coming back if you give them a reason. Your social media customers also share your information with their social media friends, and that can bring new customers to your door.

Monitor posts and comments from customers and address concerns immediately. There will be times when you receive a negative post, but a kind, concerned response shows that you are serious about customer service and satisfaction. Offer to resolve complaints quickly. A positive response on your part will help enhance your reputation and you may win new customers.

Include social media in all of your marketing materials. Your ads, business cards, website and more should have icons/links or contact information for all the social media sites you use for your business. You can even place live social media feeds on your website so visitors can see your recent posts. Include social media buttons in all of your emails to drive additional traffic to your posts.

Social media interaction boosts your search engine ranking. The more people link to your website through social media, the higher your search engine optimization (SEO) ranking will be. That means your business could appear higher in the list when someone searches for key words associated with your business.

Consider local business listing sites. These allow consumers to search and find you in your local area. Some sites such as Yelp.com and Local.com, allow customers to post reviews and comments.
